These Avedon photos aren't very good imitation because of the fact that no one wants to pose for a photo for you, so instead I focused more on capturing emotion because I think for Avedon the emotion was more important than their pose, a great example of this was the photo he did of Marilyn Monroe. She inst looking at the camera because as soon as she did she would put on a camera face. So he captured her when she wasn't expecting it.
